Getting myself back on track: Mental health and becoming a happier person

I want to share with you a few things that I started doing and how I changed the way I think about things to help keep myself at peace.

The Barcelona Guide: 72 HOURS

Speaking of the perfect place for an ultimate city break to visit this summer, Barcelona was my first choice! Filled with culture and artistic values, there's plenty to explore: from magnificent architecture, medieval buildings, unique museums to sandy beaches. Most importantly, there is nothing better than a myriad selection of delicious restaurants and tapas bar to choose from. I felt like there was always something to satisfy my late-night cravings in this city!

The Ordinary skincare review: my routine and tips

I have always been a firm believer in investing in the right skin care. There is no right or wrong in this and one product that works for hundreds of other ladies out there might not always work for you. I am therefore cautious as to which skincare I decide to invest in and try out. When I first heard about The Ordinary, I got excited because it is both in the budget-friendly range (which is always a bonus) and contains effective ingredients that work well with other products. They come in a small glass bottle with a dropper.

I went around reading quite a few skincare blogs and reviews out there to find out more about each product, the science behind the ingredients and which of them would be suitable for my skin. Here are the reviews of the products I tried out!

A day trip to Girona: from Barcelona

Girona is an ideal day-trip destination from Barcelona (40 minutes by train). Located along Catalonia's Costa Brava, Girona is charming, authentic, surprisingly quiet and peaceful. I felt like I was really in the heart of Catalonia here. This is the kind of place where you can slow down, a place that puts you at ease, very different to the busy streets of Barcelona. The small town is filled with cobbled streets, Medieval walls, mansions, churches, courtyards and gardens.  If you are a big fan of Game of Thrones like me, be sure to visit Girona as parts of Season 6 (Braavos) was filmed here!

Shop my current 24 skincare products

I can't get over how much I am into skincare products lately ( I am still experimenting!). But there are a few ones that I always go back to.
