Madrid Photo Diary

A few weeks ago, I spent my summer in Spain, Madrid. Here is the first part of my photo diary.

Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid
The Royal Botanic Garden hosted two exhibitions of the 2017 edition of PhotoEspaña in the Villanueva Pavilion from 1 June to 31 July, 2017: "Mathematics" by Peter Fraser and "Cuba " by Elliott Erwitt.

Parque del Buen Retiro
Take a walk in Retiro Park, Madrid's most famous. Palacia de Cristal is a magnificent metal-and-glass structure located in the middle of Retiro Park next to a small lake. Walk into the palace and see the sunlight streaming in through glass panes, casting a shadow on the metal frames.

Jardines de sabatini
The Sabatini Gardens is a a neoclassical-style, part of the Royal Palace of madrid. The perfect spot for  a restful break after sight-seeing around Madrid. Enjoy a marvelous view of the Royal Palace and its Gardens by checking into one of the rooftop bars overlooking this panoramic view: Terraza de Sabatini, a perfect spot to watch the sunset in Madrid.
Tip: Book a table and ask for The Palace view (it gets very crowded during the summer).

Just walking around the outside of the Royal Palace is already impressive. Breathtaking view!
