The Ordinary skincare review: my routine and tips

I have always been a firm believer in investing in the right skin care. There is no right or wrong in this and one product that works for hundreds of other ladies out there might not always work for you. I am therefore cautious as to which skincare I decide to invest in and try out. When I first heard about The Ordinary, I got excited because it is both in the budget-friendly range (which is always a bonus) and contains effective ingredients that work well with other products. They come in a small glass bottle with a dropper.

I went around reading quite a few skincare blogs and reviews out there to find out more about each product, the science behind the ingredients and which of them would be suitable for my skin. Here are the reviews of the products I tried out!

A day trip to Girona: from Barcelona

Girona is an ideal day-trip destination from Barcelona (40 minutes by train). Located along Catalonia's Costa Brava, Girona is charming, authentic, surprisingly quiet and peaceful. I felt like I was really in the heart of Catalonia here. This is the kind of place where you can slow down, a place that puts you at ease, very different to the busy streets of Barcelona. The small town is filled with cobbled streets, Medieval walls, mansions, churches, courtyards and gardens.  If you are a big fan of Game of Thrones like me, be sure to visit Girona as parts of Season 6 (Braavos) was filmed here!

Starters

My name is Kathy P. R. Wang. I am a Thai-Chinese, based in the UK.  Born and raised in Bangkok, I moved over to the UK to study in 2012. Being an international medical student living in the UK alone can be very tough and stressful at times and that's why I believe that it is healthy we all have interests outside of Medicine too!

This blog is a place where I can share my personal interests, the things that I like, my passion and experiences: Beauty, Fashion, Food, Travelling. I strongly believe that doing things that we enjoy are essential in making us all a happier individual. Here’s to a little reminder for me to take a breath and pursue my passion outside of Medicine!
